Why Offers and Tasks Get Rejected (and What to Do About It)

OffersBy the SatoEarn team4 min read

A rejected offer is frustrating, but it usually has a simple cause. Here are the common ones, how to avoid them, and what to do if a rejection is wrong.

Quick answer. Most rejections come from a missed step, a rushed completion, a VPN or ad blocker, or a duplicate account. If you think a rejection is a mistake, open your task history and use the Dispute button with proof.

Who decides if a task is approved

Offers from partner offerwalls are checked by the partner, which confirms to SatoEarn whether you completed the requirements. Featured tasks from advertisers are reviewed by the advertiser who created them. Either way, a reward is paid only once the task is confirmed.

The most common reasons for rejection

  • A step was skipped or incomplete. Many offers need an exact action, such as a sign-up with a real email, or reaching a level in a game.
  • It was done too fast. Completing in seconds something that normally takes minutes looks like a bot.
  • VPN, proxy or ad blocker. Partners often cannot track the completion, or treat the traffic as suspicious.
  • Wrong country or device. Offers are targeted, and a mismatch means no credit.
  • Duplicate accounts or repeats. An offer usually works once per person, device or household.
  • Weak or missing proof. Featured tasks often need a screenshot or text, and vague proof is rejected.
  • A later reversal. A partner can reverse a completion if it later finds a problem, and the reward is then taken back.

Check your task history

Open the Tasks page and scroll to My task history. It lists every task you submitted as Pending review, Approved or Rejected, with the date and, for featured tasks, the reason the advertiser gave.

If you think a rejection is wrong

  1. Open My task history and find the rejected task.
  2. Press Dispute. The Support page opens with the task details already filled in.
  3. Explain what you did and add proof, such as what you entered and when you finished.
  4. Send the message, and follow its status on the Support page.

Stick to facts. A clear message with proof is far more likely to be reviewed quickly than an angry one.

A checklist before you start any offer

  • Read the full requirements first, including country and device.
  • Turn off your VPN and ad blocker for the offer.
  • Use real details, and one account only.
  • Take your time, and keep a screenshot of the final step.

Frequently asked questions

Can an approved offer be reversed later?

Yes. Partners can reverse a completion if they later find a problem, such as fraud or a chargeback, and the reward is then removed.

Does a rejected task put my account at risk?

Occasional rejections happen to everyone. Repeated rushed, fake or duplicate submissions can get an account flagged, so complete tasks honestly.

Where do I see why my task was rejected?

Open the Tasks page and check My task history. Featured tasks show the advertiser's reason when one was given.
